February 2010 Class - things I love TEASER pictures

Keeping with my early new years resolution (that I will scrap more about me) I introduce the "things I love". I finished the sample just enough to tease everyone into signing up ASAP. I really think this class will fill quickly. I cheated and just scanned the pages and now that I am trying to post the pictures I wish I had taken the time to photograph them b/c the dimension is making the scans blurry. Oh well they are just teasers after all. All January attendees will see the real thing at their classes.

This class is made with SU!'s new Heart chipboard, 1/2 of a Love Sparkles Simply Scrappin' kit and punches including the new heart embossing die. The class is very personalized so you need to plan now as to what YOU LOVE. Eights pages front and back await your story as do I.

WHEN:February 5th from 6:30-10 or the 21st from 1:30-4. Maximum Six seats for each class.

COST: $25 (BYOB adhesive runner or add an additional $5 to your deposit)

DEPOSIT: 1/2 required by January 27th and is non refundable. I will give you a package of your items if you are unable to attend either class after paying in full.

As this class is VERY adhesive heavy I will provide the unique ones like glue sticks, glue dots, and dimensionals.

January Class: 10 Cards for $10 and Sale A Bration.

So far I only have TWO RSVP's for this class. I know that everyone is overwhelmed with Christmas around the corner (myself included) But, I'm going to challenge you anyway. For everyone who RSVP's for themselves AND a guest. I will give both of you the card class for half price $5 ea. for 10 fabulous cards. I am putting the final touches on them now, I'm pretty proud of them myself.

Also the best time of the stamping year is just around the corner and I hope that you will be receiving you mini catalog and the Sale A Bration (SAB) shortly. There is SO much great stuff and new products to tempt you. You get FREE product of every $50 you spend. So take a little time and pour through the catalog and update your wish list! SAB runs from January 5th till March 31st so plenty of time for you to get everything you want. The first person to schedule a workshop during this period get a very special PRIZE. Totally worth taking a look at your calendars and making some time to earn free merchandise (hostesses earn an additional SAB set for $300 in workshop sales.)

After review of your surveys - ooops THANK YOU to every one who took the time - I have decided that we will be doing cards one month, then a scrapbook project the next, then back to cards or another special project. I hope this will help everyone and meet more of you needs in 2010. I have set a pretty big goal this year that I will share later...maybe some of you will choose to join me.

February 2010 Class - I love...

Impressive that I'm thinking this far ahead right??

How about a mini book about things you love. We so often scrap about our kids but do we really scrap about ourselves? Our loved ones will know so much about their lives when we are gone but what about us? I don't have a price yet as I haven't begun to make it, but I'm sure it won't be that expensive. I wanted to get this idea out early to ensure that everyone knew about it early enough to plan for it. As always first 6 get seats, so make sure you email me ASAP.

Since the first friday of 2010 falls on the 1st and as I'm sure most of us will be recuperating from the holidays we will be meeting on the 2nd friday - the 8th from 6:30-10pm. OR my new Sunday class the 17th from 1:30 - 4pm. I am putting together 10 cards using items from the new occasion mini and some of my favorites out of the current catalog, even some that are free during Sell a Bration. DECEMBER CLASSES & MORE

Well the year is almost over again and I have some different things for our next few get togethers.

DECEMBER CLASSES:

• TWO special ornaments: one from paper and one using re inkers and GLITTER. (I was recently told that glitter is the herpes of the craft world and I TOTALLY agree)
• A punch/paper piece item that can be used on a card or on a scrapbook page: A singing reindeer that is so cute!
• A FABULOUS new technique to get you started on our FIRST class of the new year (more details to come).
• Gift tags for some extra special gifts. AND more as I decide what we can fit in the time available.

ALL this and more for only $15, with your own adhesive or $20 with mine! As always the first RSVP's get the seats they want.

Sorry it has been so long since I posted.... I have no excuses other than I had nothing new to tell you about UNTIL now.

Medallion In Color Stamp-A-Stack:

November 6th or November 20th from 6:30 till you finish or decide to leave (but come 11 or 12 it will be last call JK.)

20 note cards, with envelopes and a gift bag for $15! The Fire and Ice brads must be purchased seperately and are not included for $15.

I have two seats left the the 6th and four seats for the 20th. First RSVP's get the seats. No deposits necessary for once.

I have decided that we are going to have MULTIPLE chances for everyone to do their calendars b/c there are just too many people for me to get in here on even 2 saturdays.

So, these are the dates currently scheduled :
Saturday August 22nd 10-5pm
Friday September 11th - 6:30-11pm & Friday October 2nd - 6:30-11pm
Saturday September 26th 10-5pm

If your schedule does not allow for any of these dates please contact me and we can work something out. I will honestly have all the stations set up constantly from August through October and can find time to fit you in.

I have two different weekends tentatively scheduled. Once I have cleared this with the powers that be (JD and kids) then I will start taking deposits.

Just a tease of what I am working on for this years calendars...


I can't take credit, I totally stole this from a website, but I just had to use it for one of the summer months. January coming soon....

Still three seats left for the Circle Scrapbook & Box class on the 10th, and plenty for the birthday bash album on July 24th. New Catalogs are on their way so sharpen those pencils and grab the kleenex b/c you are gonna DROOOLLLLL.

1 title page and 10 12x12 single page spreads completed in just a few hours! They are progressive pages from one color family (your choice) in either boy or girl (traditional pairings).

WHEN: Friday July 24th 6:30-11

Class fee: $45 which includes: all paper and embellishments and adhesive. (Special I know)

Optional add-on: Don't have an album? I will preorder one with your class supplies for an additional fee. Select from the following colors of linen albums: Natural, Mellow Moss, Real Red, or Navy. Normally over $35 (after tax & s/h) for post-bound or $31 for ring-bound, but $30 or $27 with this class.

RSVP: All supplies must be ordered at least two weeks in advance, so your 50% deposit is due July 10th. Deposits are not refundable; if you cannot attend you will receive your package of materials. Remember Cash and Check only for classes.

Summer Circle Scrapbook & Box - July 10th

6 Circle Coasters, 12 circles of paper, up to 12 Pictures and embellishments PLUS a tricky little box and you have the cutest little event or gift scrapbook. I of course did mine with pictures from our most recent beach trip. Yours can be of whatever you choose.

PRICE: $15 I will supply the glue for this one.

Paper Options: Pink Flamingo (from current & upcoming catalog) regal rose, summer sun, tempting turquoise OR a new DSP named Razzleberry Lemonade from the upcoming catalog (those colors are a surprise!)

If you have another color scheme in mind to match your pictures ask me - I will see what I have around or you can bring your own pattern paper and take $3 off the class price.

I have 2 RSVP so far (Amanda and Deb) and only seats for 6. You also need to tell me what color scheme you want to use when you RSVP.

July Class

Just a quick tease for July's events: circles, ribbon, buttons and all you will need is 10 or fewer pictures from one event or with one common theme to complete! Pictures of my sample will be posted this week, so please check back before FRIDAY and RSVP if you are interested.

June 24th at Brighter Kids: 12x12 scrapbook album in one night for $30! 11 pages to celebrate one of two themes romance with "Doodle" or girls rule with "priceless" I have 2 slots left. This is not my usual night or location but would like to open it up to anyone else interested in joining up. Please RSVP by the 20th.

I am also still taking orders for the new July catalog. It is $10 without an order, $5 with a $50, and free with a $100 order in the past 90 days! The new in colors are to die for. A great new neutral, two great girly colors I can't wait for everyone to see these new additions.

LAST CHANCE LIST: You only have 2 weeks to order anything from the last chance list of stamps and accessories. If you did not get that email please contact me and I will send them to you again. I am torn between some wonderful ones that are leaving and the new ones that I just have to have. As always, I will have some of my retired stamps for sale at well below market value starting July 1st. I am not selling EVERYTHING that is retiring from my own stash. I am working on adjustments to my room to hold my favorites and future additions. So, if you can't live without something contact me ASAP so we can order you one of your own.

Spring Mini is also only good till the end of the month. Can you beleive the year is half over already.

Calendar Class will be in late September. I am starting construction on this now so if you have a special request please let me know so I can try to incorporate your ideas. I often get some of my best ideas from YOU!

REMINDER: June and July Girl's Nights

June 5th girl's night is an open scrap. Bring what you are working on with the following theme: vacations!
July 3rd Girl's night: I will be out of town with my HUSBAND! No kids, just adult time together. So...I need to reschedule that months night to July 10th! I hope this doesn't interfere with any one's plans. I would apologize, but I am soooo excited. Feel free to contact me if you need anything.

I will be loading two new projects in the next few days and taking RSVPs for not 1 but 2 projects for June and July. I don't know about you but we are seeing a baby boom in our corner of the world and I am planning albums as gifts now.

I know how much everyone enjoys my special projects as group events and as this is the Friday after we return from our vacation it will be open scrap night with a twist.


I would like for everyone to bring vacation photos. Doesn't matter if your trip was to Disney, the Beach, Moutains or where ever! I also plan to have a swap table. To explain : you bring things you don't want anymore and others can trade or pay you for them.

Mother's Day Gifts 2009 part 2

UPDATE: If you would like to make more than 1 brag book and card set, it is an additional $8. each book needs 8 small wallet pictures, and the scrap pages can be completed with pictures at home. if you bring your pictures electronically I will print them for you for an extra $2.

Mother's Day Gifts 2009

Wish I had posted this sooner...but I know that everyone will understand when they see how great everything turns out. I have a 3 piece Mother's Day gift set for $15 as our next group class. You will make a purse sized brag book, card and 12x12 2 page layout. I have only posted the card and the brag book, the layouts will be a surprise. All papers, cardstock colors, ribbons are from the mini occasions new Designer Series Paper: Walk in the Park. Because of shipping times, this class has a mandatory RSVP by Sunday April 26th for the first 6 people. I am sorry for the short deadline, has this month passed quickly for everyone else too? Happy Easter

Just a quick Happy Easter wish for everyone in my life! I plan to use this card as a starting point for an easter page. Once I get those pictures taken!

Punch Cheat Sheets

I am taking orders for something that doesn't have any stamping! As my collection of punches has grown, my ability to tell which punch size I need/want has gotten harder. So, I stole this idea and modified is just a little. One ring will hold a card with the name, price and order number for each of the 40 punches SU! currently offers. You are welcome to a sample of every punch I have, and the extra cards for you to "grow" into. I added a little bit of ribbon to coordinate to my room and yours will have the same. I will also include extra cards when SU! adds new punches. The rings are $10 each and can be made at any Open Scrap night or Stamp Camp.

Class/Camp Reminder

Just a reminder: It has been a little while since I have had a group this size over for a friday night so just a few notes to jog your memory.
1. Stamp A stack for $20 does not include adhesive. I have a limited amount of 2 sided tape on hand for $2 if you are unable to bring your own adhesive.
2. Clear envelopes are an extra .25 ea. The $20 includes white envelopes.

I have a few samples to excite you and some bad news. I have filled April 3rd's girl night, so for those of you that did not RSVP. I am very sorry, but you are welcome to contact me to place an order for these fabulous sets and the coordinating punches! The scans really don't do these justice.

All inks, ribbons and papers are soft subtles or whisper white. The stamps sets all coordinate with either the square or NEW oval scallop punches. I've also thrown in some of the texture plates from the big shot!!!

If you don't already have these fabulous accessories, you will want them - really really badly!

Stamp-A-Stack

Next Girls night is Friday April 3rd.
I was recently looking for a card and realized my card stash is getting pretty slim. So $20 for as many cards as you can make in one night, white envelopes included (clear are extra). I pick the colors of your inks & card blanks (this limits the confusion), what stamp sets are eligible and all my accessories and verbage stamps will be at your disposal. I will have some samples made up in the next few weeks and will post them here. For those who have never done a stamp-a-stack, you can copy my samples or make your own from the pile of scraps available. They are fun, fast and FABULOUS!

Thanks to an absolute steal on 12x12 canvas I am able to offer this project for just $7. It will be up to you what colors you want to use, so that yours will coordinate with your space. To help everyone get a start on those special February projects I will try and up load as many card and layout ideas as I can between now and the special day. So, check back often.

(The colors are the same in both, but my camera made them into one shade and the scan of the card another. The card is the most accurate. Over time, I'll get better at this I promise!)

Forever Heart Layout:

12 x 12 Basic Black, 3 sheets of Rose Red Designer Series Paper cut into varying sizes. 1 8.5 x 11 sheet of Pink Pirouette cut into heart, and .5 by 3" torn strip. 1 8.5x 11 sheet of Pretty in Pink, cut into 5.5 x 7.5 mat and 3.5 x 5 for journaling. ALL paper gets rose red sponged around edges. Lightly write forever and forever around heart edges. One corner punch from Basic Black. Punch holes around heart edge and tie pink ribbons, staple pink ribbons to photo corners. Pink button to end of Date strip.

If you would like this kit pre cut and ready for ink and your pictures it is $6, for a two page spread $10.

Forever Heart Card:

Whisper white card blank, basic black mat, three strips of Rose Red Designer Series Paper, hand cut heart from Pink Pirouette, 2x3" Pretty in Pink square. All paper sponged with Rose Red. Basic Black small corner punch, holes for ribbon around heart edge.
